The Narrator

As the Blog name says, I now live on the other side of 40. While I’m not freaking out or obsessing about my age, I feel that I now dwell in an interesting place. I’m part of the sandwich generation. I have my parents and my children. Gone are the days where I was the young guy at work while further ahead lies the promise of retirement. It’s quite an interesting view.
I’m a bit of a jack of all trades. I’ve made airplanes, worked in printing, graphic design, janitor, taxidermy, and now drive a school bus. Add to that 20+ years working with youth and you’ll see that I’ve earned my graying hair. Bonus is that I have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). Life is pretty interesting sometimes. Avid reader, photographer, camper, hiker, paddler, volunteer, web crawler, geek, and now a blogger.
I have alway wanted to write but was always too busy, or too afraid, or …… so no more excuses. To walk you have to take a step. I feel everybody has a story to tell, they just have to choose to tell it. So here goes!
